Announcements
Rehearsals for the new year, conducted by Peter
Bandy will start on Monday (31 January). Please
arrive early to collect your scores and be seated and
ready to sing by 7:30pm
Current concert program
Our first concert will be Mozart’s Great Mass in C
minor, plus other works. Performances for this
concert series will be on May 14 & 15, then in
Geelong on May 27. Please see the below for
further dates.
Fees and fundraising
Membership fees are $150 for the year or $60 per
main concert. Membership for singers under the age
of 30 is a reduced membership rate of $70 per year
or $30 per concert.
Please pay your fees to Karen Mansfield or Wendy
Gower.

Verdi in concert - with Viva Verdi! These two
spectacular concerts will feature impassioned
arias, eloquent choruses and dramatic
ensembles from Verdi's great operas including Il
Trovatore and La Traviata as well as a few

Short courses at the Melbourne Conservatorium
of Music
Throughout the year, the Conservatorium will be
offering a number of short courses, workshops
and intensives in diverse areas including:
· Aural and musicianship skills
· Alexander Technique
· Performance and presentation skills
· Classical singing
· Early Music
